Taylor Swift is officially entering her Pixar era, and I’m losing it

Just when you think Taylor Swift has run out of worlds to conquer, she goes and hooks up with Disney. After weeks of everyone on my timeline losing their minds over weird clocks and random blue-sky billboards, the rumors are actually true: Taylor is dropping an original song for Toy Story 5.

It’s called “I Knew It, I Knew You” (very classic Taylor phrasing), and honestly, the way the fandom cracked this code feels wilder than usual. People were literally tracking cloud formations on her website to match the wallpaper in Andy’s room. Turns out, the 13 clouds on those global billboards weren’t a coincidence.

“I’ve always dreamed of getting to write for these characters… I fell instantly in love with Toy Story 5 when I was lucky enough to see it in its early stages.”
— Taylor sharing the news on Instagram.

Word on the street is that the track is a total return to her acoustic country roots, heavily inspired by Jessie the Cowgirl. If this ends up being anything like “When She Loved Me” from the second movie, we are all going to be absolute emotional wrecks in the theater.

The single drops this Friday, June 5th, right before the movie comes out later in the month. Here’s a quick live timer so you can keep track of the exact release minute:

Are we getting a devastating country ballad or a sweet, nostalgic acoustic track? Let me know what you think the vibe is going to be in the comments!
