The galaxy is expanding across Disney Parks in a BIG way.
With Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu arriving in theaters on May 22, Disney is launching an entire wave of experiences inspired by the iconic duo — and honestly? This might be one of the biggest Star Wars park updates we’ve seen in a while.
From new missions inside Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run to Grogu-themed snacks, merch, projection shows, and interactive moments across multiple parks, Disney is fully embracing the chaos of the galaxy.

A Brand-New Smugglers Run Mission Is Coming
Starting May 22, 2026, guests visiting Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World will be able to experience a completely new storyline aboard Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run.
This time, Din Djarin and Grogu are joining the mission.
The updated adventure sends guests across the galaxy after pirates and ex-Imperial officers during a high-stakes chase involving Hondo Ohnaka. And yes — you’ll once again be taking control of the legendary Millennium Falcon.
Disney also confirmed that the attraction will feature multiple iconic Star Wars destinations including Bespin, Coruscant, Endor, and Tatooine.
Even better? The engineer role now includes interactions with Grogu himself, which honestly sounds dangerously adorable.

Grogu Snacks Are Taking Over The Parks
Disney is also introducing new themed food and drink offerings inspired by Mando and Grogu — and some of these already look destined to become viral park snacks.
Guests visiting Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge can try:
- Grogu Cookies
- Sweet-and-Spicy Puffer Pig Pasta
- The Mandalorian and Grogu Jetpack Sipper
- BDX Droid Bucket
Meanwhile, Disneyland Paris is joining the fun with its own lineup including a Grogu Burger, Grogu Biscuit, and a blue Grogu macaron that genuinely looks too cute to eat.

A New Nighttime Projection Experience Is Coming To Galaxy’s Edge
Beginning May 16, Disneyland guests can also experience “The Curious Child”, a new projection sequence at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
The short nighttime experience follows Grogu as he recalls moments from his adventures with The Mandalorian, with stunning visuals projected across Batuu near the Millennium Falcon.
It will play after Shadows of Memory: A Skywalker Saga, adding another emotional layer to the land after dark.

New Mandalorian Merchandise Is Everywhere
Of course, Disney also dropped a massive wave of new merchandise inspired by The Mandalorian and Grogu.
The collection includes:
- Grogu plushes
- Collectible figure sets
- LEGO Star Wars sets
- Mandalorian apparel
- Grogu-themed tech accessories
- Puzzles and collectibles
Fans can shop the collection at locations including World of Disney, Star Wars Trading Post, Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities, and more across Disneyland and Walt Disney World.

Disney PhotoPass Is Getting A Grogu Upgrade Too
For a limited time, Disney PhotoPass is also introducing new Magic Shots inspired by Mando and Grogu.
Guests may discover these themed photo opportunities throughout:
- Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge
- Disney Springs
- Tomorrowland at Disneyland
- Disneyland Paris
- Select Disney Cruise Line experiences
Honestly, this entire rollout feels less like a movie promotion and more like a full-scale park event.
Between the new attraction storylines, themed food, projection shows, merchandise, and Grogu interactions, Disney is clearly betting BIG on the future of The Mandalorian and Grogu.
And if fans are already this excited now… May 22 might be absolute chaos in the parks.
