Galactic Adventures Inside Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

Star Wars fans can step into completely different eras of the legendary saga inside Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland park. Travelers roaming the Outer Rim outpost of Batuu might cross paths with legendary icons like Darth Vader, Leia Organa, Han Solo, and Luke Skywalker alongside the land’s resident characters.

The biggest news for the galaxy is a brand-new mission debuting on Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, launched to coincide with the arrival of the new film, Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu, in theaters. Crew members can join Din Djarin and young Grogu to track down elusive ex-Imperial officers across deep space.

To celebrate the film’s release, a limited-time experience titled “The Curious Child” plays immediately following the nightly presentation of “Shadows of Memory: A Skywalker Saga.” Stunning projection effects transform the majestic spires of Black Spire Outpost right behind the Millennium Falcon, taking onlookers on a visual journey through Grogu’s memories of his galactic travels.

Making the jump from the parks to the silver screen, the adorable BDX droids are making their official feature film debut in the new movie! These playful, curious droids-in-training have returned to Black Spire Station on Batuu. Returning for its second grand year at the Downtown Disney District on June 19, Disney On the Yard Presents Yardfest honors the vibrant culture and musical traditions of historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs). The high-energy event features incredible drum major performances, including an appearance by Drum Major Mickey Mouse himself!

This event marks the official kickoff to “Celebrate Soulfully: Summer Vibes” (running June 19 through July 19), which showcases Black heritage and culture through music, food, and art. Over at California Adventure’s Paradise Garden Bandstand, guests can check out the Summer Vibes Concerts in the Park, showcasing live acts across Top 40, Jazz, Caribbean, Zydeco, and more, alongside special character greetings and live variety acts on weekends.
